In Guangwushan, the area where the red leaves can be admired covers 680 square kilometers. With forests covered in red foliage and a magnificent landscape, it is known as \"Asia’s longest natural red carpet\" and the \"Hometown of Red Leaves in China\".
From mid-October to the end of November each year, the viewing period lasts nearly two months, and it goes through three phases: colorful hues, forests covered in colors, and leaves turning red – all of which are truly stunning and awe-inspiring. It is known as \"China’s most beautiful autumn.\"
The Dagu Glacier and Dagu Iceberg are among the largest and most beautiful areas in Sichuan Province for viewing red and colorful forests; they are renowned as the best of their kind in Asia. The golden autumn season is the most romantic time to visit these places.
The layered forests are bathed in color; the hills covered in colorful trees resemble scrolls fluttering in the wind. The slopes, adorned with reds and greens, are like brocades and silks, creating a scene that makes one feel as though they are in a fairyland. Autumn is the best time to admire these colorful forests.
The scenery of Jiajin Mountain is also at its peak; a variety of colors cover it with a splendid coat, creating a beauty that is truly stunning!
The seasons for viewing the red leaves in Jiajin Mountain are: the colorful forest period, the canyon red-leaf period, the red-leaf period itself, and the snow-capped mountain red-leaf period, with each period having its own distinct characteristics.
Mikurayama Mikurayama **Forest Park is known as the \"Hometown of Red Leaves in China\"; with a forest coverage rate of 97.3%, it is referred to as a \"natural oxygen bar\".
Guangwushan, known as China’s number one mountain for its red leaves, is located at the southern foot of the Micang Mountains, at an altitude of 2,507 meters. It is shrouded in clouds and mist all year round, giving it an otherworldly appearance.
In November, red leaves stretching for over a hundred kilometers adorn the land of Jinchuan with a variety of colors. With the arrival of the autumn wind, the area transforms into a magnificent landscape spanning hundreds of miles; the leaves of the pear trees turn red like fire. This unique landscape of red leaves on plateau snow pears can probably be seen only here.
The density of such red leaves is not excessive; they do not overwhelm one’s senses. When looking down from a high place, one can see people still working in the fields, and smoke rising from the houses. This kind of truly down-to-earth beauty is all the more appealing.
