The octagonal gasket is for DN1200, and it’s fixed very tightly. Do any of you have any tips on how to remove it without damaging it, so that it can be reused on another piece of equipment?
Tap it with a wooden mallet – that’s how the gasket for the head of our hydrogen reactor is installed.
For the reuse of gaskets, you should ask the manufacturer
Metal gaskets are completely fine, while non-metallic ones are not.
