Question: There is a safety valve with a set pressure of 7 KG and a back pressure of 1 KG. Can it be used in a situation where the set pressure is 7 KG and the back pressure is 2 KG?
The allowable back pressure for a regular safety valve is 10%; 30% in your case is definitely not acceptable. Use one with a diaphragm for back pressure regulation
It depends on the safety mechanism chosen; the level of back pressure determines the type of spring that should be used in the safety valve, as the spring needs to be strong enough to overcome the back pressure in order to ensure sealing.
Recalculate whether the diameter is sufficient to meet the displacement requirements under increased back pressure
I don’t think it’s possible, but it will need to be recalculated; in other words, the pressure drop is reduced
