How to operate a vacuum pump? Are there any operating procedures or pictures of the vacuum pump?
First, use the backflow method followed by the steam evacuator, in the sequence 3-2-1; generally, grade 2 or 3 reciprocating pumps or water ring pumps are used, along with a grade 1 Roots pump； Pay attention to inlet control and evacuate slowly.
There are too many types of vacuum pumps, and each one operates differently. One of the operational steps is more or less the same in all cases: first, open the outlet of the pump, then start the vacuum pump; once the desired vacuum level is achieved, slowly open the inlet. For the others, it depends on the type of pump: piston pumps, screw pumps, claw pumps, diaphragm pumps, vane pumps, jet pumps, and so on all have different requirements.
