The flow rate of crude argon into the refined argon column shows a gradual decrease every two days. What is the reason? How to handle it? Seeking help from experts. Thank you.
Flowmeters are designed with temperature and pressure compensation. When this phenomenon you mentioned occurs, first check the distillation conditions in the crude argon column – whether there are any changes in the process, as well as the pressure and resistance values, along with the pressure and resistance conditions in that column ; Whether it changes or not. If there are no issues with the process, check the flowmeter differential pressure transmitter again and calibrate it.
Compare the pressures of the crude argon two-tower and the refined argon tower to first determine whether there is a problem with the flow meter. After resolving any issues with the flow meter, check for problems related to the nitrogen plug, the return gas from the argon tank, as well as the liquid nitrogen supply for the refined argon condenser and the gaseous nitrogen supply for the refined argon evaporator~~
