Preparing for the certification exam – any advice?

I’m over 40, but I want to obtain a certification to enrich myself. I’m not sure what would be a good exam to take; please give me some advice based on your own experience. I can’t decide whether it’s chemistry or safety and environmental protection. I majored in chemical engineering processes and have been working for N years.
Since it’s about improving oneself, take an exam for something that can be useful at work; this way, work and learning complement each other – why not do it?
Take the exam for whatever is useful in work.
It is recommended to take the registration exams for power engineering or water supply and drainage; the others are not useful
