I’ve been feeling down these past two days: my user group has been changed from a Chemical English Technician group to a regular group, with the Technician group becoming invalid starting from March 31st. No one informed me in advance as to why it expired, or whether I needed to extend my identity documents or apply for them again. Nor did anyone tell me what I, as a technician, had done wrong that led to this outcome It seems that Kaichuan isn’t very welcoming to the technicians. Previously, there were bonuses and such given out on a monthly basis, but for almost a year now, I haven’t seen anything of that kind (I’m not short of money; I’m here to help others voluntarily, not for a bonus). And now, the deadline for the innocent technicians group has passed – what’s going on?

It’s great to be enthusiastic and have time to help others. It seems like you’ve been busy lately and didn’t notice; it’s okay. Just apply again – keep that enthusiasm, that’s what matters. The Haichuan spirit: participate happily, share happily, learn together, and improve together

There are two technicians in the Chemical Engineering English section; I hardly ever see the other technician show up, and the moderator doesn’t show up very often either. I’m the technician who regularly replies to messages to provide assistance. Is it possible that those who actually do the work end up being considered unqualified?
