I have a pH meter here; sometimes the reading shown on the instrument at the site is normal, but the main control unit displays a value of 14. When I disconnect and reconnect the signal cable at the site, the problem goes away. What’s going on?
A ammeter is connected in series within the circuit of the transmitter output; if the reading on the ammeter corresponds to the reading on the field instrument, it indicates that there is no problem with the field instrument, and in such cases the connection cables and the secondary sampling section should be checked. If there is no match, it indicates a problem with the output from the field instruments.
At that time, the wire was removed to measure the current, and it was normal; after reconnecting the wire to the main controller, everything showed normal
