What is the difference between etherified gasoline and hydrogenated gasoline? What is the difference between their refined products?
The etherified gasoline and hydrogenated gasoline are blended and sold as finished gasoline. Etherified gasoline belongs to the category of ethers, such as MTBE and TAME; it has a relatively high octane rating. Hydrogenated gasoline refers essentially to gasoline that has been desulfurized through hydrogenation, with sulfur content meeting the specified standards.
