Air compressor operation guidelines: 1. Before starting the air compressor, check that all protective devices and safety accessories are in good condition; otherwise, it is not allowed to start the machine. 2. Before starting, check whether the lubricating oil level of the air compressor is within the standard range. 3. The pressure gauge should be calibrated once a year. The exterior of the air storage tank and pipe connections should be inspected annually, while the interior of these components as well as their water pressure resistance should be checked every three years; detailed records must be kept in this regard. Indicate the operating pressure and the date of the next test on the steam storage tank. 4. The safety valve of the air compressor must undergo an automatic start-up test once a month and be calibrated every six months, with a lead seal applied. 5. When inspecting, repairing, or maintaining the air compressor, care should be taken to prevent wood shavings, metal shavings, rags, etc. from falling into the compressor’s cylinders, air storage tank, and ducts. 6. Components cleaned with diesel must run without load for 10 minutes before they can be put to normal use. 7. No maintenance or repair work shall be carried out on the air compressor while it is in operation or when there is pressure in the equipment. 8. While the air compressor is in operation, pay close attention to the changes in the pressure gauge reading; it is prohibited to run the machine at pressures above the specified level. 9. If abnormal noises, odors, vibrations occur or a malfunction happens during operation, the machine must be stopped immediately and repaired before it can be used again. 10. Before starting a water-cooled air compressor, open the cooling water valve first, then start the motor. Operation must be stopped immediately in the absence of cooling water or when the water supply is interrupted. 11. Personnel who are not authorized to work in the machine room are not allowed to enter it; if entry is necessary for work purposes, approval from the relevant departments must be obtained ; Flammable and explosive materials are not allowed to be placed in the air compressor room. 12. After the work is completed, the remaining air in the gas storage tank should be released. The cooling water should be drained in winter. Precautions for using air compressors: 1. Pay attention to monitoring the temperature of the motor at all times, and regularly check whether the readings on various meters and pressure gauges are within the specified range. 2. Pay attention to checking whether the operating sounds of all components of the air compressor are normal. 3. Check whether the suction valve cover of the air compressor is hot, and whether the sound of the valve is normal. 4. Make sure to check whether all the safety devices of the air compressor are reliable. 5. If any of the following conditions are observed during the operation of the screw air compressor, it should be stopped immediately; the cause should be identified and resolved ; It is prohibited to force the machine to operate knowing that it is faulty. a. Supply of lubricating oil or cooling water is interrupted. b. Sudden increases or decreases in water temperature. c. The exhaust pressure rises suddenly, and the safety valve fails. d. The load suddenly exceeds the normal value.
