Regarding inverted bucket hydroscapers

Our installation has several inverted drum-type traps used to transport low-pressure steam condensate, and there are the following issues: 1. The condensate cannot be transported away (the actual amount of condensate being transported is quite small; I will upload diagrams later). 2. Steam is released from the exhaust pipes at the top during the transport of the condensate, resulting in smoke in the area, which is unsightly. We ask all experts to help resolve these problems.

Consider the relationship between back pressure and front-end pressure. The back pressure should be 0.02 to 0.03 Mpa lower than the front-end pressure; otherwise, water drainage will not be possible.
The backpressure and the pressure difference at the front end are definitely sufficient; the driving force for the steam trap is low-pressure steam, while the backpressure corresponds to the atmospheric pressure in the condensate tank. Is it closely related to the flow rate of the strainer?
The back pressure is the atmospheric pressure in the condensate tank. But there is a manual valve before the tank; if this valve is closed partially, wouldn’t the back pressure of the steam trap increase?
