When renewing a pollution discharge permit after its expiration, is it necessary to prepare a new report on pollutant discharge assessment if there are no changes in the production process? If necessary, please provide the names of the relevant laws, regulations, standards, or rules.
Generally, enterprises need to conduct pollution monitoring 4 times a year, with at least one assessment being required. When renewing the pollution discharge permit, monitoring data must be attached to prove the total amount of pollutants you are applying to discharge. Reference can be made to Articles 20 to 23 of the Water Pollution Prevention and Control Law.
