No more exam fees? Does that mean the exam is free, or has the option to inquire about this exam been removed?

According to a report on the Ministry of Finance’s website, the Ministry of Finance and the **National Development and Reform Commission issued a notice stating that, as of November 1, 2015, 37 types of administrative and institutional fees would be abolished or suspended nationwide. Additionally, starting from January 1, 2016, the fees charged by public employment and talent service agencies under departments such as those responsible for human resources and social security for managing collective household registrations for talents (including those of a service-based nature) would also be eliminated. The notice stipulates that, after the cancellation or suspension of these fees, the funds required for relevant departments and their affiliated institutions to carry out their management functions in accordance with the law shall be allocated through the financial budget at the same level, so as to ensure the normal progress of their work. Relevant departments and units must go to the finance department to complete the procedures for canceling financial invoices. The income from the collection of fees shall be fully remitted to the state treasury through the channels specified by the financial authorities. The notice also requires that the finance and pricing departments of various provinces (regions, municipalities) expedite a comprehensive review of the administrative and institutional fees established at the provincial level. Cancel those fees that are related to **providing universal public services or performing general administrative functions, as well as those fees whose main purpose is to support staff and thus violate the basic principles of a market economy.
