In large petrochemical projects, facilities such as the central control room, production buildings, office buildings, laboratory buildings, substation rooms, and instrument cabinet rooms are all designed to use central air conditioning. 1. For the facilities mentioned above, which of them can make use of systems for cooling and heating water? Is it necessary to use electric air conditioning in the instrument cabinet rooms? 2. If refrigeration is used to produce hot water, how is the workload generally divided between the plumbing and drainage team and the HVAC team? 3. I found that the process PID diagram shows cooling water; the relevant system is the cooling air in the 35KV substation. However, the layout of the water pipes cannot be found in the detailed plumbing drawings, and neither does the electrical department have any information on this. Natural Ventilation: A type of ventilation that utilizes the thermal pressure resulting from the difference in air density inside and outside a room, or the wind pressure caused by wind, to drive air flow. 6. Mechanical Ventilation: Forced ventilation achieved through fans or compressors. 7. Fresh Air: Outdoor air from the safe area. 8. Conditioned air refers to air that has been filtered, heated, cooled, humidified, or dehumidified to meet certain air-conditioning requirements. 9. Supply Air: Air is directed to a certain area through the ventilation system. 10. Return Air: Air that is exhausted from one area and returns to the ventilation system of the ventilator. 11. Air changes refer to the number of times per hour that the air in a ventilated area is replaced, expressed as a multiple of the volume of that area. 12. Hazardous Area refers to areas where fires or explosions may occur. It is generally divided into three areas. 1) Zone 0 refers to areas where, under normal operating conditions, flammable gases or vapors at concentrations sufficient to cause ignition or explosion are present continuously. 2) Class 1 areas refer to areas where, under normal operating conditions, combustible gases or vapors that reach ignition or explosion concentrations occur intermittently or periodically. 3) Zone 2 refers to areas where, under normal operating conditions, it is unlikely that combustible gases or vapors will reach ignition or explosion concentrations; however, under abnormal operating conditions, it is possible for such gases or vapors to reach those concentrations.
