The medium inside the furnace tube is liquefied gas; if the heating furnace tube is punctured, should the furnace be turned off immediately or should combustion be continued?
1. If there is a minor perforation in the furnace tubes at the elbow area and a fire breaks out, immediately reduce the flow rate and lower the temperature until operation is stopped. 2. If there is a minor perforation in the furnace tubes inside the furnace chamber and a fire breaks out, immediately lower the temperature until operation is stopped. 3. In cases where the perforation causes a severe fire, immediately cut off the feed to the furnace and shut down the heating furnace urgently. 4. Supply fire-fighting steam to the furnace chamber. 5. After closing the feed control valve of the heating furnace, use steam to purge the furnace tubes.
This is easy to detect: when the furnace tube cracks, the material sprays out and catches fire, causing the temperature inside the furnace to rise sharply. The system then initiates an emergency shutdown, with the aim of shutting off the pipes in the heating furnace area to maintain a positive pressure environment for combustion. By using nitrogen to blow out the material pipelines, the fire is extinguished. The nitrogen supply should not be stopped; continued purging is necessary, and an emergency shutdown of the furnace will suffice
Normal shutdown: purge with nitrogen or cool using steam
