In Appendix B, Table B.2 of GB14383, the outer diameter of pipes in Series II is specified only; there is no information regarding wall thickness. How should the wall thickness be determined? ? Urgent! Urgent! Urgent! !
The standards vary, and thus the outer diameter differs. The outer diameter can be fixed, but the wall thickness must be determined based on pressure and material; it’s not possible to have…； There are many “tables comparing pipe pressure and wall thickness” available online; you can search for them.
But sir, for British standards, there are requirements regarding wall thickness – SCH80 is required – that’s why I’m asking how to determine the wall thickness for domestic series products
Then refer to other standards: for example, the petrochemical industry standard SH3405-96； GB/T12459-2005, Appendix B, ASME series standards ；
It should be the same as the corresponding nominal pipe in Series I. Because Table 2 only mentions the outer diameter
The minimum wall thickness can be SCH80; the I series will work as well
