Dry gas seal issues in circulating hydrogen centrifugal compressors

The dry gas seal of the cyclic hydrogen centrifugal compressor in our company’s paraffin oil hydrocracking unit (manufactured by John Crane) has been repaired three times since September 2015; the cause remains unknown. Each time the seal was disassembled, it was found that the sealing ring was damaged. Seeking advice
Find out the reason. Check whether there is liquid inside, whether the interior is clean, and whether the crosstalk and vibration during operation are normal. It is necessary to check whether the amount of sealing gas injected is normal; this is a systematic issue. This set of seals is quite expensive; we can’t keep repairing it like this forever.
If you just simply say it’s damaged, it will be very difficult for others to help you. It is recommended that you collect more abnormal data on the dry gas seal control system before the seal damage occurs
Cran didn’t give an explanation? The common causes are liquid ingress, excessive vibration, or operational errors that result in negative pressure. Kran has good quality. The first two reasons are unlikely.
