What is a Class A warehouse, and how is it distinguished?
According to Table 3.1.1 of the Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings GB50016-2006. Classification based on the properties of the stored substances: Category A: 1. Liquids with a flash point of less than 28°C; 2. Gases with an explosion limit of less than 10%; 3. Substances that can decompose on their own at room temperature or that can oxidize in air, leading to rapid self-ignition or explosion ; 4 Substances that, at room temperature and in contact with water or water vapor in the air, can produce flammable gases that lead to combustion or explosion ; 5 Strong oxidizers that are highly prone to combustion or explosion when exposed to acids, heat, impact, friction, catalysts, or flammable inorganic substances such as organic materials or sulfur ; 6 Substances that can cause combustion or explosion when impacted, rubbed, or in contact with oxidizers or organic materials ; 7 Production in enclosed equipment where the operating temperature is greater than or equal to the substance’s own autoignition point. Class B: 1 Liquids with a flash point of 28°C or higher but less than 60°C; 2 Gases with an explosive lower limit of 10% or higher; 3 Oxidizers that do not fall under Class A; 4 Chemically flammable solid substances that do not fall under Class A; 5 Oxidizing gases; 6 Suspended dust, fibers, or liquid droplets with a flash point of 60°C or higher that can form explosive mixtures with air. Class C: 1 Liquids with a flash point of 60°C or higher; 2 Combustible solids. Class D: 1 Productions that involve processing non-combustible materials and that frequently generate intense radiant heat, sparks, or flames at high temperatures or in a molten state; 2 Various productions that utilize gases, liquids, or solids as fuels, or that involve burning gases or liquids for other purposes; 3 Productions that involve using or processing non-combustible materials at normal temperatures. Class E: Productions that involve using or processing non-combustible materials at normal temperatures
