Is it based on the scope of application specified in clause 1.3 of the relevant regulations, requiring the fulfillment of all three of the following conditions: 1. The operating pressure is greater than or equal to 0.1 MPa; 2. The product of the operating pressure and the volume is greater than or equal to 2.5 MPa·L; 3. The medium contained is a gas, a liquefied gas, or a liquid whose highest operating temperature is greater than or equal to its standard boiling point. It is according to these criteria that pressure vessels are classified, right?
In clause 1.3 of the general provisions in the regulations, all three conditions must be met; these are the prerequisites for classifying pressure vessels. Only when all three conditions are satisfied can the vessel be classified according to the medium groups specified in Appendix A of the regulations, by referring to diagrams A-1 and A-2.
These 3 conditions are used to determine whether a container is subject to inspection, and there are many ways to classify specific containers; generally, classification is carried out in accordance with Appendix A of the Solid Waste Containers Regulations.

Containers that meet one of the following conditions are classified as Category III containers: (1) High-pressure containers ; (2) Medium-pressure vessels (media with extremely high and high toxicity) ; (3) Medium-pressure storage vessels (for media with moderate flammability or toxicity, and for which the product of design pressure and volume, PV, is ≥ 10 MPa·m3) ; (4) Medium-pressure reaction vessel (media with moderate flammability or toxicity, and PV≥0.5 MPa·m3 ; (5) Low-pressure vessels (for media with extremely high or high toxicity levels, and PV ≥ 0.2 MPa·m3) ; (6) High-pressure and medium-pressure shell-and-tube waste heat boilers ; (7) Medium-pressure glass-lined pressure vessels ; (8) Pressure vessels manufactured from materials with a high strength level (with a minimum specified tensile strength of ≥540 MPa) ; (9) Mobile pressure vessels, including railway tank cars (for liquefied gases and cryogenic liquids), tank trucks (for the transport of liquefied gases, cryogenic liquids, or inert gases), and tank containers (for liquefied gases and cryogenic liquids), etc ; (10) Spherical storage tank (volume V ≥ 50 m3) ; (11) Low-temperature liquid storage containers (V≥5m3) – Category II containers. Class II containers are those that meet one of the following conditions and are not covered by paragraph 1: (1) Medium-pressure containers ; (2) Low-pressure vessels (media with extremely high and high toxicity) ; (3) Low-pressure reaction vessels and low-pressure storage vessels (flammable media or media with moderate toxicity) ; (4) Low-pressure shell-and-tube waste heat boiler ; (5) Low-pressure glass-lined pressure vessels.
