I would like to ask everyone: what is the exact moment when the water separation tower should be shut down during the shutdown of a Linde low-temperature methanol wash unit? How is the steam load of the thermal regeneration tower adjusted when parking? I’ve never stopped the car before; everyone, please help and discuss this with me. Thank you! ! ! !
The material volume in the water separation tower gradually decreases, and the methanol content in the wastewater discharged meets the specified standards; generally, operation is stopped 3–4 hours after stopping the methanol circulation. When parking, the steam load of the thermal regeneration tower is adjusted according to the methanol circulation rate and gradually reduced to maintain the temperature at the bottom of the tower; regeneration stops once the regeneration is complete, slightly later than that of the water separation tower. If parking over winter, the reboiler steam can be turned on slightly to prevent freezing.
