Replaces YB163-1963 and YB164-1963: hot-rolled light I-beams and channel steels. Or there are requirements for it, in the form of industry standards for labeling styles and codes. reward_7ree
GBT706 refers to hot-rolled ordinary steel sections, with thinner flanges. I just saw that the specifications on the delivery note mention a thin version, with standards from 1963; upon further checking, I found that those standards are no longer in use and there’s no alternative specified, which left me confused.
No alternative standard; YB 164-1963 for hot-rolled light-gauge channel steel grades； The YB 163-1963 standards for hot-rolled light I-beams were abolished in 1978, with no replacement standards available.
