I am seeking advice regarding the selection of an inlet filter for piston compressors. The equipment model 2D12 -100/8 currently uses a conventional oil bath filter, which results in a high failure rate. Seek advice on selecting imported filters
The filter can be either a Y-type filter or a V-type filter
They are generally Y-shaped or T-shaped filters

Is there any information available on self-cleaning imported filters? Are they suitable for piston compressors? Centrifugal equipment uses such filters first, but I’m not sure if they are appropriate for piston compressors either – are there any disadvantages?
