Issues with running WinCC screens on virtual machines

Why doesn’t the display change when WinCC is used? The simulation values are set through PLCSIM, and changes can be seen in the program via simulation, but they are not visible in WinCC. I seek advice from experts! !

By default, PCS7 uses named connections to communicate with the PLC via WinCC, but PCS7 does not support simulation using named connections. I’m not sure whether the latest version of PCS7 supports this feature. It is recommended that you change the connection method to TCP/IP in the OS compilation wizard of Simatic Manager, then recompile it. If the logical functions work properly during simulation tests, you can try changing it back to a named connection for actual use.
Oh, when I hover my mouse over the naming link in WinCC, it keeps indicating that it’s not connected to the PLC. . . I’ll give TCP/IP a try
