Our company has one production workshop that consumes around 20 tons of gas per day. The production process is intermittent; there is high gas consumption at certain times, after which heat preservation distillation is carried out, and the gas usage is irregular. I’m not sure which model of steam flow meter to choose, as the instrumentation engineer said it’s best not to install one. There’s no alternative, so I’d like to ask the experts for advice – waiting for replies online!

If measurement is required and only one type of flow meter is to be chosen, it is likely the mass flow meter. If two flow meters are installed, there are more options. No trade measurement is required; the cheapest option would be to choose two different caliber rotary steam flow meters
