1. After more than half a year of implementation, the “One Question per Day” activity has helped increase popularity, but it has also led to a relative decline in quality. As a result, the forum no longer recommends this activity; if such an activity is still desired, please contact the regional manager – no more than 2 “One Question per Day” posts per day per large region. 2. Continue to carry out the “Weekly Topic” initiative, focusing main efforts on it. One section should be dedicated to one “Weekly Topic” per week; moderators should coordinate this internally (one region may recommend 2-3 Weekly Topics for the homepage per week, and region leaders should make reasonable use of these recommendations).
What’s meant to happen will happen eventually. But it’s good too; I hope that after another round of transformation, the forum will become even better tomorrow.

Received. I will carry it out carefully. In the foreign language section, only the General English section conducts daily translations, and the content as well as the quality of those translations are always high, so I will continue with this practice.

I found myself caught up in the daily question routine – it’s a fast way to earn money. Besides the financial benefits, this routine also helps expand one’s knowledge. However, it inevitably leads to some issues, such as evaluations among moderators and random replies. It’s impossible to have it all; I support efforts to improve the quality of this forum and to turn HaiChuan into a more academic website. I did come here to download some materials, and so far I’ve only downloaded one small attachment. I still can’t get the PDMS tutorial video. But the in-depth discussions on this forum really drew me into HaiChuan, and I began to reply actively. Then I realized how little I actually know, and how lacking my ability is to help others solve problems. Now I dare not ask for anything from HaiChuan; I’ll just keep learning gradually
The Chemical Equipment and Machinery section began attempting to suspend the daily question activity at the beginning of May, with some sub-sections already taking action. As the leader said, the daily question activity has increased popularity but also brought too many negative effects. In my section, starting from May 16th, aside from the sections on moving equipment and corrosion, where the daily question activity will continue temporarily, it has been stopped in all other sections. And start new activities.
Participating in the daily questions for each section also expands users’ knowledge, but it takes a considerable amount of time, leaving less time to use for discussing technical issues. HaiChuan has already paid the moderators, and if the moderators rate each other, it will create a sense of imbalance among the other users. If HaiChuan can answer every question, that is what all Hai users hope for. Personal suggestion: Add more technical discussants, and include posts showing their performance in technical discussions within each section. After resolving a technically challenging post, each technical contributor edits the relevant links for that post into their work portfolio post. Used to determine the basis for performance-based salary evaluation at the end of the month.
