1. Scope This standard specifies the design and manufacture of fixed metal pressure vessels. Inspection and acceptance requirements. For steel containers, those with a design pressure not exceeding 35 MPa. 2. Materials 1. The steel used for the pressure-bearing components of pressure vessels shall comply with the provisions of this standard. Steel for non-compressed members, when welded to compressed members, should also be steel with good weldability. 2. When selecting steel for pressure vessels, the operating conditions to be considered (such as design temperature, design pressure, properties of the medium, and operational characteristics) should be taken into account, along with the weldability of the material, the manufacturing process for the vessel, and economic viability. 3. Stainless steel composite panels shall meet the following requirements. a. The bonding shear strength of the composite interface shall be not less than 200 MPa. b. The bonding rate index for the composite interface as well as the ultrasonic testing range shall be specified in the drawings or corresponding technical documents. c. The base material shall be carbon steel and low-alloy steel plates or forgings listed in this standard. Composite materials refer to the high-alloy steel plates listed in this standard. d. The composite steel plate shall be supplied after heat treatment, and the condition of the base layer shall comply with the relevant provisions of this standard. e. The scope of use for composite panels must comply simultaneously with the regulations regarding the use of the substrate and the composite materials. In addition to meeting the relevant requirements specified above, the technical specifications for composite steel plates shall also comply with the corresponding provisions of GB8165 or JB4733.
