The mechanical seals at our site get damaged quite frequently; mainly, it’s the bellows in those seals that break. The seals that use springs to compress the stationary ring and are sealed with rubber rings between them fare a bit better. Could someone experienced explain what forces are primarily responsible for the damage to the bellows, or are there any other reasons as well? ? ? Thank you

Our machine seals also break down frequently; we just replaced a set of them today, and it hasn’t even been half a month since the last set was replaced. I have no idea what’s causing this

For double-end face mechanical seals, the requirements for centering the impeller and for determining the compression amount of the mechanical seal are particularly high. Xie Wang is helpful.
Please measure the compression amount of the bellows seal and the axial movement of the pump!
