Starting procedures for various types of pumps

Our installation currently has centrifugal pumps, vortex pumps, high-pressure piston pumps, screw pumps, and water ring vacuum pumps. Could someone please explain what the steps are for starting up these pumps, as well as any precautions that need to be taken? I would be very grateful if an expert could provide some guidance:handshake
1. Before starting the pump, open the inlet and purge the pump of air； 2. Start the pump ； 3. Open the outlet after the pump is operating normally. These are just the general steps; the specific procedures vary depending on the pump. For pumps with water jackets, water must be circulated before starting the pump, and for those with reverse air return systems, this feature also needs to be activated before startup.
Ordinary centrifugal pumps seem different from vortex pumps; when starting a vortex pump, the outlet valve needs to be fully open

When starting a magnetic pump, it seems that the outlet is slightly open; everything else is the same as with a centrifugal pump!
