Can one obtain a certification in environmental protection to become a registered chemical engineer?

The company has qualifications for environmental-friendly design; can it obtain certification in chemical engineering? Previously, the previous company had qualifications for chemical engineering design, but they no longer have them now. I’m not sure whether they will pass the evaluation What kind of certification is needed? I’ll ask the current company to issue it for me; I’m not sure if there will be any issues during the approval process Is there anything similar?
It should be possible. If questioned on the spot, just insist that you are involved in the treatment of petrochemical wastewater.
Just take the exam on environmental protection – it’s valuable; chemicals aren’t valuable these days
The thing is, I had already taken the basic exam at my previous employer; taking the environmental protection exam would be a waste of time
