It’s the motor that needs adjustment; the pump coupling is fixed, while the motor coupling is tilted to the left, so the motor needs to be adjusted to the right; If the motor coupling is offset, add a stainless steel gasket to the motor! You need one coupling to be fixed, and then adjust the other movable object, so that the two can be aligned! Small motors can be adjusted with a rubber mallet, while larger motors usually come equipped with adjustment screws!
Once it’s aligned, just reconnect the two halves of the coupling, right?
I saw that when the technician aligned them, the couplings were already connected; I can simply measure the axial and radial deviations and adjust the motor. Is that okay?
