I would like to ask fellow maritime professionals: I used to work in the field of chemical storage and transportation engineering design, and now I want to switch to becoming a safety assessment specialist. What are the career prospects for this profession? ? Including income and such. . .
This certificate is useful for safety assessment agencies, but not much needed by manufacturing enterprises.
How should I put it? I think design work requires more technical expertise than safety assessment work, but there are too few new projects these days. **There is an increasing emphasis on safety, and overall there is still some hope; in this field, some people do a good job while others don’t. I heard that some people work on their own for a few years, because it’s generally simpler that way. No matter what you do, it depends on human effort
Thank you to this fellow marine for helping to answer these questions. I already have some basic understanding of them, but the only thing I’m not clear about is the prospects in this field. After all, I’ve been working in design for many years and am now of an age where I need to consider changing careers. If I want to continue working in design, there really isn’t much hope left in that area – as you said, there are few new projects available, and when it comes to technical improvements, one is extremely busy yet doesn’t earn much money. That’s why I’m considering working in safety assessment, but I’m worried that the earnings won’t be high enough. If, after working in safety assessment for a few years, I still earn less than I do now as a designer, it really doesn’t seem worth it. This is something that has been bothering me
Currently, there is a surplus of designers but a shortage of work. Safety assessments might seem dull in the early stages, but third-party agencies are still a viable option; of course, the more experience an agency has, the more valuable it becomes. The various security aspects involved actually cover a pretty wide range; if done well, I think there is more potential in this area than in design.
Thank you for your reply. Have you worked in the security field before? You must have a detailed understanding of this area, right? ?
After reading your remarks, I know exactly what kind of person you are! Why doesn’t the group owner ban you, you mentally twisted scumbag!
Ah, since the layout of the HaiChuan forum was changed, it’s become increasingly chaotic; there are all kinds of people there. I don’t want to say much; I just want to ask a question.
Don’t lose hope regarding the forum; maybe everyone isn’t very familiar with this aspect, so please be patient and wait for an answer
Uh. . That’s not what I meant; I just think that on technical forums like HaiChuan, some people come not to discuss technology and related issues, but rather to post annoying comments. I’m just mentioning this because it’s happened twice this month already, and such things never occurred before. . .
