I am currently processing the reimbursement for my communication expenses from the month before I leave my job. The company’s finance department replied, “As per the management’s instructions, you need to prepare a list of the phone charges for the last month, clearly indicating which calls were related to company business and specifying what exactly those business-related calls were. After calculating the total amount, it will be reimbursed in accordance with the company’s reimbursement policies.” ” The reimbursement requests made by this leader, Renwei, are unreasonable for the following reasons: 1. The company’s policy regarding reimbursement of phone bills does not stipulate such requirements. The company does not have any employees; even for former employees, phone bill reimbursements are provided in accordance with these requirements. Moreover, over the several years I’ve been working, I’ve never encountered such a requirement when claiming reimbursement for my monthly phone bills. 2. For almost all companies, reimbursement for phone bills is not limited to costs related to work calls; it also serves as compensation for employees being available 24*7 to respond to work demands at any time. I’ve never heard of any company having such requirements for reimbursing communication costs. 3. For the communication costs in my last month of employment, the same structure as that used in the first few months of 2016 was applied: this included a monthly subscription fee of XX yuan, roaming charges for calls made during business trips, as well as data usage fees (for accessing technical information online and checking company emails during business trips and commutes), totaling XX yuan; there were also SMS fees of XX yuan. The total amount came to 246 yuan, which was within the company’s set limit of XX yuan. There is also nothing that violates the company’s current phone bill reimbursement policy. 4. When I left the company, XX, who is in charge of phone bill registration, and HR director XX clearly informed me that reimbursement was possible under the company’s current phone bill reimbursement policy. 5. If a new reimbursement system is adopted, such as no reimbursement for monthly fees or mobile data, it should be notified in advance. I can’t understand why that leader suddenly made such a request; to any ordinary person, such a requirement is a hardship for the employees, and it really harms the image of the holding company. I attend work video conferences at 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. on Saturdays, working day and night; moreover, I always share my work results selflessly on the company’s server. Difficulties like this can only disappoint and anger the employees. There’s no need to cooperate anymore. 1. Most of the fees are monthly charges, and these have to be paid even if no calls are made. She refused to approve the reimbursement of the monthly rent, which goes against the company’s policy regarding reimbursement of phone expenses. 2. Mobile data costs are excluded from reimbursement, but since it is also used for work, isn’t it reasonable to include them? 3. I have used my family’s paid Wi-Fi to work for the company, and I have never complained about it. It seems that the company’s general manager is also tolerating such behavior, so there’s no other choice but to resort to labor arbitration.
Since you’ve decided to leave, don’t worry about the cost of a phone call – let’s all leave a good impression
The post is repeated below; it seems unnecessary to post it twice. Although the content is slightly different, you can edit it~~ Experiences of the difficulties in the workplace: http://bbs.hcbbs.com/thread-1600902-1-1.html (Source: Haichuan Chemical Industry Forum)
People fight over pride; it seems that not only the original poster but everyone else wouldn’t care about such a small amount of money spent on calls. What really irritates the original poster is this company’s attitude toward its employees – treating long-serving staff in such a harsh manner. If the company shows no mercy at all, then why should it show any mercy to them?
It depends on each person’s attitude toward dealing with things; some people are very assertive and insist on having their way in everything. Some people think it doesn’t matter as long as it doesn’t affect their core interests; it’s okay to suffer a little loss – it’s about maintaining a contented mindset! If it were me personally, in a situation like this I would just talk to my former colleagues about it in private, complain a bit, and if that didn’t work I might say a few harsh words, and then go on with my life. I’m quite lazy and don’t want to go through all that trouble, and that amount of money isn’t much at all – it’s not even enough for a decent meal
I also think it’s unnecessary to worry about such a small amount of money; since one doesn’t have any core skills at that company, there’s no point in being picky about things like this. The materials submitted are not complete; there might be errors or omissions, or things may not have been explained clearly. They will always come to you asking for help~~~ Hahaha
It’s quite normal; after leaving a job, the former company stops providing any support and creates various difficulties. The key is whether you have the time to deal with all that. If there is such a thing, I support you in taking matters up with this company ; If not, focus on your next job with peace of mind; it’s never too late for a gentleman to take revenge – you can deal with it again when you have the chance.
Look for the reasons within yourself! Everything else is an excuse!
It’s not worth going to labor arbitration over such a trivial matter. It might be the leader being a bit petty. I have been working for twenty years, and almost every day I encounter various kinds of grievances similar to those of the original poster. If it were like the original poster’s situation, I would probably have died of anger by now. Hehe, it's good now. :lol
It must be that your circle is too small; everyone has become like this, with increasingly narrow perspectives. I advise you to leave as soon as possible, otherwise even smaller matters will lead to bigger conflicts.
