Regarding the top suspension column

When the tower is of a tapered design with a smaller upper section and a larger lower section, how should the top suspension columns be selected? Is it necessary for the arm length to be greater than the radius of the lower section? Does anyone who’s experienced this know?
It’s not just that; the suspension point of the hanger column needs to be outside the edge of the tower platform.
I’d also like to ask: are the suspension columns the same for towers of different diameters? Are there any standards that can be used as a reference or for calculation?
