Corrosion in magnesium hydroxide storage tanks?

Hello everyone, is ordinary carbon steel Q235B suitable for use as a slurry tank for magnesium hydroxide in flue gas desulfurization? The medium inside contains magnesium oxide, water, and magnesium hydroxide. Is the corrosion severe? The magnesium hydroxide concentration is approximately between 15% and 20%. Thank you!

The temperature also needs to be taken into account; at room temperature, rotational molding of PO and PE is sufficient, with a thickness of 5–8 mm. Economical and practical. A vinyl ester resin coating is used when the temperature is high. The latter type of material is commonly used in desulfurization flues.
