Yitai Ganquanbao Coal-to-Oil Project Passes Energy-Saving Assessment Author/Source: Date: 2016-08-11 Clicks: 7 On August 11, reporters from the Morning Post’s multimedia team learned from the Autonomous Region Development and Reform Commission that the commission’s office had recently issued the \"Opinions on the Review of the Energy-Saving Assessment Report for Yitai Xinjiang Energy Co., Ltd.’s 2000,000-ton/year coal-to-oil demonstration project\" (Document No. Fa Gai Ban Huan Zi [2016] 1697), officially approving said assessment report. To date, for the Yitai Ganquan Fort coal-to-oil project, all the supporting documents required for approval have been approved, except for the Environmental Impact Assessment Report. The Yitai-Huadian Ganquanbao 2 million tons per year coal-to-oil project of Yitai Xinjiang Energy Co., Ltd. is located in the northern area of the Ganquanbao Industrial Park in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The project’s capacity is 2 million tons per year; its main products are diesel, naphtha, and LPG, while the by-products include sulfur and mixed alcohols. The main production facilities include air separation, coal gasification, purification, oil synthesis, exhaust gas hydrogen production, oil processing, and raw coal pre-drying units; it is one of the key coal chemical construction projects in our region.
