Does anyone know the production process for manufacturing calcium chloride solution using carbide slag or carbide slurry along with waste hydrochloric acid from the factory?

The factory currently needs calcium chloride solution (30wt%), but it does not want to purchase it externally; therefore, it plans to use carbide slag or carbide slurry along with the factory’s waste hydrochloric acid to produce calcium chloride solution. I hope experts from various fields can offer their help.

There are quite a few patents in this area; it’s just not clear whether there are any mature demonstration projects.
