Small design companies, in order to comply with relevant legal regulations, keep up with the trends of the times. The leadership has assigned the task of carrying out work on the design of the SIS system. As the designer, I would like to ask the experts: what SIS-related drawings are required in order to work together with the SIS system manufacturers and develop the company’s SIS system? What role do companies need to play as well? I would be extremely grateful if experts could share some insights from their own perspectives to help clarify this matter!
LZ, doing SIS design is a very complex task – so complex that sometimes it’s hard to keep going with it, so it can’t be explained in just a few words!
Then, study the relevant specifications and standards – that should be a more reliable approach!
The SIS system operates on counter-intuitive principles; the best way to learn it is to first examine others’ drawings before creating your own. System manufacturers usually provide such materials, and those working as designers should be able to obtain them
Find a complete set of drawings for the large-scale units, and also get a complete set of drawings for the main system; study them carefully. This really can’t be explained in just a few words. However, if it’s a DCS-based system, it should be easier to get started with the SIS.
