What causes the Siemens positioner to make a beeping sound?

This sound is normal. That’s the sound from Siemens. Don’t use a bird for it. If no signal is sent from afar to make it operate, it will still make a humming sound, which indicates some air leakage. It’s usually a problem with the cylinder; if the leakage isn’t severe, there’s no need to fix it.
Siemens regulators have this problem; theoretically, it’s due to air leaks in the gas circuit. Several units in our factory have this issue, and it has been going on for several years now. It doesn’t have any impact on production, so we just leave it as it is. :lol
That’s right; it’s a leak in the air output circuit. I’ve dealt with such situations before, and usually it doesn’t cause any problems if left unaddressed
