Production of ammonium (potassium) nitrohumic acid products

Currently, in the laboratory, I use nitric acid, liquid ammonia, and coal to prepare ammonium (potassium) nitrohumic acid. During this process, a large amount of foam is generated as part of the reaction, along with nitrogen oxides. For those who have conducted this experiment, what are the appropriate values for coal particle size, acid concentration, acid-to-solid ratio, nitrification temperature, and nitrification time? ;P I started doing experiments today; I hope everyone can offer some guidance!
