At a sulfuric acid production plant in Guizhou with a capacity of 200,000 tons, after the major maintenance and restart in 2016, the temperature of the boiler exhaust gas began to rise starting in late July; it reached 495°C before the planned shutdown for maintenance on October 4. After 12 hours of maintenance and restart, the temperature of the boiler exhaust gas started to drop, falling to 360°C on the 11th. Please analyze the reasons behind this. Note: Use diatomaceous earth for pre-coating filtration before May; later switch to lignocellulose, and use lime powder to neutralize acidity.
Is maintenance meant to clean the boiler tubes? If so, it is mainly due to severe scaling on the outer walls of the tubes, which significantly affects heat exchange.
Cleaning and purging the inner wall of the fire tubes during major repairs
Is your water quality up to standard, given that the inner walls of the fire tubes are cleaned and purged?
If scaling occurs on the reclaimed water side, it cannot be automatically restored.
