During an 8-hour shift, this generator produces 174,150 cubic meters of oxygen, 174,000 cubic meters of nitrogen, and 5,866 cubic meters of argon. The output from the main cooler is stable, as is the overall operating condition. The oxygen purity is 99.6%. The total electricity consumption of all equipment is 141,200 kWh. It should be the amount of electricity consumed per cubic meter of oxygen; 141200/174150=0.81KWh/m3
Each algorithm is different; some take liquid factors into account, while others do not. In our calculations, we usually convert liquids to an equivalent of three times the volume of gas.
Does the electricity consumption of the nitrogen compressor also have to be counted towards the oxygen cost? Isn’t even argon economical? Is the liquid oxygen for main cooling safety discharge, which amounts to 1% of the oxygen production, also negligible?
