I would like to ask whether various companies and factories have any regulations regarding the usage lifespan of personal protective equipment – how many years it must be replaced? For example, anti-static work clothes, protective shoes, safety helmets, protective glasses, protective earplugs, respirators, acid- and alkali-resistant clothing, and so on. Thank you!
There is no specified retirement cycle; however, work uniforms are provided in summer and winter versions each year, and shoes are issued one pair per year
Safety helmets: valid for 30 months from the date of manufacture; work uniforms and shoes: to be replaced annually; nothing else. Any damage that occurs during use must be repaired immediately
Will anti-static clothing lose its anti-static properties after being washed many times? Are there any standards?
For anti-static clothing, refer to GB12014; shoes should have their resistance tested no more than once every 200 hours. In fact, you can search on Baidu for more information
Follow the instructions in the manual; for example, safety helmets last for 3 years
