Problems with Shanghai Kent flowmeters

The on-site meter reads normally (0–80 tons); after the valve is fully closed, the on-site gauge shows zero, indicating no flow. However, the indoor DCS indicates 23 tons, and the measured current is a little over 5 milliamps. I’m not sure why this is the case; how can it be resolved?
The meter display shows 0, but the current in the circuit being measured is 5mA or more. You should first test the circuit using a circuit tester or a process tester; if there are no issues, then it’s a problem with the meter itself. Connect a handheld controller to it to check what the output is. Sometimes meters have a secondary meter function that allows for automatic conversion, so check whether the set display range matches the meter’s actual range – make the necessary adjustments if needed. If all the settings are correct and the current output of the meter is indeed 5mA, then… you should replace the meter and contact the manufacturer for further assistance.
