Can high-pressure steam be used during the reduction of transformation catalysts? Our company previously used nitrogen heated to high temperatures to raise the temperature of the catalyst; now we want to replace nitrogen with high-pressure steam. The catalyst in question is a sulfur-resistant shift catalyst
I’m not sure if it’s the catalyst used in that process; check the operation manual. If the requirements regarding water content are not strict and there are no special specifications, steam can be used as the heating medium.
