How is the temperature of the condensate water obtained after superheated steam is used to heat the equipment via its coils determined?
Strainers operate on different principles; some maintain a constant temperature, while for those whose drainage temperature can be adjusted, it is possible to change it. In the case of those whose drainage temperature cannot be adjusted, it usually remains low and does not increase. For those that discharge water as soon as it is present, the back pressure can be checked; the temperature will not be lower than the saturation temperature at that back pressure.
The condensate discharge temperature depends on the back pressure, and it will be slightly higher than the saturation temperature at that back pressure.
