When a compressor does not have a no-load regulator, opening the return line before starting it up is equivalent to starting it under reduced load. Why is that? Please, those who know the answer, help to answer it
Full reflux – think of it as the minimum flow rate line of the pump
It’s more or less the same; I think when the return line is opened, the exhaust pressure decreases, which in turn reduces the load
The reflux is activated; the gas exiting flows back to the inlet, reducing the exhaust pressure and slightly increasing the inlet pressure, which acts as a form of pressure equalization (though not in the strict sense)
High pressure flows back to low pressure; if you don’t enable this return flow, the oil pressure won’t rise, and the starting current will be high as well. It is necessary to have this return flow in place
When the compressor is not equipped with a load regulator, the return line is opened before starting the compressor; when the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the compressor is zero, it is equivalent to starting the compressor under 0 load.
If it is not turned on, the compression ratio will also increase, and the temperature of the valve gases will rise
