As the title suggests, the options for now are Dongfang Furnace, Aerospace Road Furnace, Siemens Furnace, and Collin Furnace. Are there any experts who are familiar with these different types of furnaces? For coal with a grindability index of 76 and a ash fusion point of 1500+, which furnace would be the most suitable choice?
Siemens has essentially withdrawn from the Chinese market and is now Ningmei Furnace. Personally, I think the gasification furnaces of these four manufacturers are pretty much similar to each other, and they can handle coal with high ash fusion points without any problems. I’ll analyze the differences for reference only: The Eastern furnace uses a tubular water wall, which requires lower specifications for the medium-pressure circulation pump, and its thermal expansion coefficient is relatively smaller. Collin and space furnaces feature coiled water-cooled walls, which requires medium-pressure circulation water pumps to have sufficient head. Their advantage is a higher coefficient of thermal expansion, making them less prone to damage. The types of burners vary. The ash ratio is slightly higher than that in space furnaces, requiring a slightly more powerful ash removal system. The performance of space furnaces in use domestically far exceeds that of the other two manufacturers; I estimate that around 50 such furnaces are currently in operation (this figure may not be exact), and they have relatively more experience in terms of actual use. The aerospace segment uses its proprietary patented equipment, so the investment will be higher than that of the other two. Collin represents German technology, Dongfang Lu is a technology shared by East China University of Science and Technology and Ningbo Institute, while Aerospace refers to China’s Long March technology; all three parties have a high level of expertise in gasification. Therefore, I believe that none of these three companies has any issues regarding their design concepts or understanding of gasification furnaces. You can choose based on your own requirements.

Personally, I think the Eastern furnace is also good; its grindability index is high, and the ash melting point can be controlled by using solvents. I lean towards the Eastern furnace as it operates more stably.
What is the daily coal input per unit of the Eastern furnace at present?
I also think the Dongfang furnace is good. In my opinion, East China University of Science and Technology has the highest level of expertise in gasification furnaces in China, after all, it has experience with water-coal slurry systems, four-nozzle designs, as well as the Dongfang furnace.

The first generation of the Eastern furnace has a capacity of 1,000 tons; the second generation has a capacity of 1,500 tons. A model with a capacity of 2,000 tons has been developed, and work is currently underway on models with a capacity of 3,000 to 4,000 tons.
