The low-temperature feed to the debutanizing tower has two lines: one reaction cycle line that is connected after the backwash filter, and another distillation cycle line that is connected to the wax oil outlet unit. The distillation cycle line has an interconnection before the valve that links it to the feed line of the debutanizing tower. At startup, the reaction line is used to supply oil to the distillation unit in order to establish a liquid level; thereafter, the distillation line can be used for interconnecting the systems, allowing circulation within the distillation system without affecting the reaction process. During start-up and shutdown, short cycles are carried out in the distillation process; these are cycles between the main stripping tower and the distillation tower. The butane removal tower does not participate in these cycles, but each product stream can be recycled back to the main stripping tower
