It refers to organic compounds whose saturated vapor pressure is greater than 70 Pa at room temperature and whose boiling point is below 260°C at standard pressure, or all organic compounds that possess corresponding volatility with a vapor pressure of 10 Pa or more at 20°C.
VOCs is an umbrella term for volatile organic compounds, encompassing more than 100 different substances. Initially, they exist in gaseous form; under the influence of sunlight, they undergo photochemical reactions with substances such as sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides, ultimately resulting in the formation of ozone, PM2.5, and other substances that cause air pollution. Our unit has assigned dedicated personnel to carry out inspections as planned and to continue with the remediation efforts.
