In the running MTO, what are the yields and unit consumption of each plant? In normal production, how to increase the yield of ethylene and propylene?
This depends on the technology. From the current perspective, SH-MTO has the highest yield, the diene yield is at least above 80, the methanol unit consumption is the lowest, and the catalyst consumption is the same as that of the best-operated DMTO. There is still a lot of room for optimization when the operation is just started.
Ask friends upstairs for advice: You said "SH-MTO has the highest yield and the lowest methanol consumption." I wonder which one is more advanced, Shenhua's technology, or UOP's MTO technology? UOP's methanol unit consumption is 2.6 tons of methanol to produce 1 ton of olefins. Don’t know what the yield is? In addition, will Shenhua’s SH-MTO technology be transferred to other parties? Construction has just started now, and the unit consumption of methanol is slightly higher than that of uop, but not more than 3. There is no data for other projects, so it is difficult to compare, but it is better than DMTO.
